Buildings – noise control testing facilities

Müller-BBM operates noise control testing facilities at its headquarters in Munich as well as at the Berlin and Dresden branches, which are listed on the Verband der Materialprüfungsämter e. V. (Association of Material Testing Institutes (VMPA)) list of sound insulation testing facilities by the VMPA. The registration numbers are VMPA-SPG-194-97-BY, VMPA-SPG-159-97-B and VMPA-SPG-156-97-SN.

Rail vehicles – acoustic measurements

The German Federal Railway Authority (EBA) has recognised Müller-BBM as an inspection facility for tests on rail vehicles. This recognition encompasses measurements of internal and external noise and testing for electromagnetic compatibility of rail vehicles. The identification number is EBA-12/02/09.

Müller-BBM is also recognised as a subcontractor of the Notified Body Interoperability. This recognition includes tests according to DIN EN 17025 in the scope of activities according to the Directive 2001/16/EG and its technical specifications for interoperability (TSI).

Wind turbines – acoustic measurements

Müller-BBM has the conformity seal of the Fördergemeinschaft Windenergie (FGW) (Association for the Promotion of Wind Energy) for the measurement of noise from wind turbines.
